ADAAM and Reach A Hand Uganda align school water-safety work

ADAAM met Reach A Hand Uganda on 19 August 2026 to align their school water-safety work. The meeting followed an earlier request for coordination and focused on building a shared approach to curriculum-related activities.

ADAAM agreed to support Reach A Hand Uganda’s curriculum work and pursue a joint engagement with the Ministry of Education and Sports. The discussion connected school water safety and survival swimming with the wider national drowning prevention process.

The meeting was a partnership and planning milestone. Ministry engagement, the formal curriculum pathway and approval of materials remain next steps.
